At the Sidon International Festival (SIF), our mission is to curate a dynamic and diverse array of cultural and entertainment events that celebrate the multifaceted identity of Saida. We are committed to honoring the city’s rich heritage—its ancient history, traditional arts, and enduring customs—while embracing its vibrant and evolving urban spirit. Through our festival, we strive to create experiences that harmoniously blend the old with the new, resonating with both locals and visitors and strengthening Saida’s presence on the cultural map.
The SIF committee is committed to curating high-quality cultural and entertainment events that showcase Saida’s rich heritage and dynamic urban culture. By creating impactful experiences, we aim to enhance the city’s cultural, social, and economic well-being. As we prepare for the fifth edition of the Sidon International Festival, we strive to celebrate Saida’s identity through inclusive, artistic programs that engage local artists, businesses, and the community, further contributing to the city’s growth.
We are guided by our core values of inclusivity, innovation, and cultural preservation. We strive to foster a welcoming environment for all, celebrating Saida’s heritage while embracing contemporary trends. Through our events, we aim to create lasting cultural impacts, encourage local talent, and enrich the community experience.
Our events and activities have included Touristic Days and Touristic
Nights during which participants toured the old city of Saida, visiting its
renowned historic sites and enjoying live musical performances, street parades, and Dabkeh performances at the various venues, while sampling local foods and traditional bites.
The committee also collaborated with Rotary Club – Saida to organize the first ever Christmas village celebration in Saida; an event that featured a variety of activities including musical parades, Santa’s house, entertainment spectacles, handcrafts corner and a festive food court.
SIF organized an extravagant Saida in Color and Bike Rally event. After the 400 bikers spent a few exciting hours riding around and exploring famous Saida landmarks and charming old sites, they joined another 3000 participants for a 7-hour memorable interactive day where they were doused in vibrant color throws, swayed to musical performances, and enjoyed exciting street shows.
SIF events and concerts always presented its audiences with exquisite handmade items and handicrafts at their carefully curated exhibitors; space as well as delicious eats and food stands at their extensive and varied food courts.
Throughout our festival journey, against the backdrop of the Mediterranean, the magnificent Sea Castle and mystical Zireh, SIF audiences spent hours enjoying spectacular performances by popular and much loved national as well as international artists such as Nancy Ajram, Guy Manoukian, Shireen Abdel Wahab, Nasif Zaytoun, Joseph Atieh, Ranin Shaar, Wael Kfouri and other popular artists.
Our musical shows also included the exclusive awe-inspiring show Voyage by the dazzling Carole Samaha, a spectacular Music Hall signature show, a musical tribute to Saida’s Fayza Ahmad, performed by the exquisite Radwa Saed from Cairo Opera House accompanied by the Lebanese Oriental Orchestra lead by the Maestro Andre El-Hajj and a tribute to Wardah performed by Sarah El Hani, and Saida at Sunset with Rodge, Aziza & Albert Boyadjian.
As the Sidon International Festival continues to evolve, the committee remains dedicated to showcasing Saida’s unique heritage and modern vibrancy through high-quality cultural and entertainment events. Each year, the festival brings together renowned artists, local talents, and vibrant community participation, creating experiences that leave a lasting impact on both the city and its visitors
